Late-breaking addition of Paul Oldham to the bill.  All the way from West Pasadena, California...

Early show--doors at 6pm, music at 6:45, at the Southern Cafe and Music Hall in Charlottesville.  Electric trio Ned Oldham and Jordan Perry with Paul Oldham first, then steel-string finger-picker Daniel Bachman.  So pleased that Paul will be here on modular synthesizer to join with the electric guitars of Ned and Jordan.

A nice last hurrah before the University students come back.  Electric guitar and vocal harmony duo of Ned Oldham and Jordan Perry opening for an era-ending (the era of Ray) Borrowed Beams of Light performance.  Outdoor action, trees and sky, loud electric rock at end of quiet Elliewood Avenue.

Father's Day 21 June at Blue Ridge Swim Club

I wanted to tell you about this show, but Sarah Lawson does a better job in the current issue of Whurk magazine.  Jordan Perry and Ned Oldham on acoustic guitars playing traditional and unrecorded original songs at the Blue Ridge Swim Club.  The show is free for members, which is what Jordan and I are; you can come as our guests, but the management might ask you for $15, the guest fee.  It's a really nice place to cool down on a hot summer Sunday; shade, native plants, spring-fed pool 100+ yards long and ten yards wide.  If the weather is iffy, good to check with the club to make sure the show is on.

Please come!  Ned Oldham and Jordan Perry, first of three (followed by International Friendly, then Water Liars) at the Tea Bazaar in Charlottesville.  New, unrecorded songs plus a couple Anomoanon songs in new arrangements.  You never get to see electric guitar duos anymore, you really want to come and see how this will sound, and you'll show up for the duo's 9pm set and be so, so happy that you did.
